American actress Emily Mallory Procter was born on the 8th of October in 1968. She played Ainsley Hayes's character on The West Wing, a NBC political drama (2000-2002; 2006) as well as Det. Calleigh Duquesne, CBS's detective procedural drama CSI: Miami 2002-2012



 



 Early life



 Procter was born on October 8, 1968. She was adopted at the age of a baby by William Procter, a general physician, and Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker. She was raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was three years old when her parents divorced. Whit, her older brother, is adopted.



 



 Ravenscroft School was where Procter was educated in Raleigh. Procter attended East Carolina University and was part of the student body Alpha Delta Pi. She was a television anchor for the WNCT-TV in Greenville, North Carolina. After graduation, she received degrees in journalism, and dance.

She is currently the anchor for Weather Command, Fox Weather.    She was the weekend weatherman on WABC-TV New York City, New York.
